Brandon has worked in the mental health field for over five years. He obtained his Master of Social Work from the University of Denver. Brandon has worked for long term residential behavioral health programs for at risk youth and dual diagnosis substance use providers, in every level of care including outpatient, withdrawal management and inpatient settings. Brandon also works as a jail based crisis clinician with a community mental health provider in Colorado. Prior to entering the mental health field Brandon obtained a B.S. in criminal justice at the University of Central Florida and a M.S. in criminal justice at the University of Cincinnati. He is trained in various theoretical approaches in counseling, however, first and foremost utilizes an approach which is strengths-based, trauma-informed and person centered. Brandon is passionate about supporting individuals through their successes and challenges as they choose a life of recovery from substance use and mental health disorders.
